Martin and Ioana Miller welcome you to Miller’s Hideaway at Great Brampton House, Madley. A luxury bed and breakfast home away from home. Snuggling in the Welsh borders, the Country House Hotel has undergone a complete restoration and is now open for guests. Our concept is simple, to provide our guests with a retreat from 21st century pressures in elegant, yet comfortable surroundings, set in England’s most outstanding countryside. The surrounding area of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and the county of Powys, hosts many fascinating annual events.

Whether for an overnight stay or an exclusive country house weekend party Great Brampton is perfect for those seeking the traditional elegance of an eclectic country mansion. Great Brampton houses an outstanding collection of art and curiosities that will fascinate, cosset and intrigue. Miller's Hideaway provides a host of modern facilities. A full sized billiard room, a room of curiosities and a dining room to seat 24 are just a few facilities on offer…. we even have a cinema, gym and treatment room.

We believe in relaxed informality, as you can see from our guest comments, where you can languish in a deep sofa by the fire sipping a Martin Miller’s gin cocktail.

Whether it’s playing cluedo, a late night game of bridge, or scrabble by the lake, we have on offer a wonderful range of activities. For overnight guests, we offer dining from Tuesday to Saturday and at other times can recommend some excellent restaurants and inns. We pride ourselves on delicious, locally sourced, English food and breakfast to die for…. with eggs from our very own chickens.
